In this tutorial we will just create a basic text link navigation menu and then apply CSS to make it look all nice with rollover effects.

We will use the default wordpress theme for this tutorial that comes with wordpress when you install it. The best place for a navigation menu in a wordpress template is in the header.php file, so that is where we will create it.
